Last night was the biggest night in film–The Oscars! Usually, I don’t watch the Academy Awards, but since my usual guilty pleasures Real Housewives of Atlanta and Blood, Sweat, and Heels didn’t air I decided to tune in and I’m really happy that I did. I actually felt sort of inspired after watching the awards. The show was so regal and definitely a change from the usual music award shows I normally watch. It makes me want to win an award in my field one day. Anywho, here’s my list of the night’s best dressed. As you can see, I’m a big fan of matte pastels, shimmery metallics, and simple lines.
Lupita Nyongo’o reminds me of Cinderella in her custom Prada gown (love the color) and Kate Hudson looks fabulous in Versace!
Charlize Theron looks great in this black Dior number with the sheer straps and Jada Pinkett-Smith is glowing in coral Versace.
I love Viola Davis’ old hollywood hair and this emerald green Escada gown. Anne Hathaway looks edgy in her black studded Gucci gown.
I really like Kelly Osbourne’s lavender hair and her white Badgley Mischaka gown looks stunning on her curves. Lady Gaga really surprised me in her pastel colored Versace gown. She really looks fab.
I love Amy Adams in this navy blue Gucci number, and Jared Leto looks great with his white jacket, red bow tie, and shaggy ombre hair.
Matthew McConaughey and his wife Camila Alves in this Gabriela Cadena. I don’t even know where to begin. They look amazing!
These last two (well, three) looks are from Vanity Fair’s Oscar’s after party. Lupita in this seafoam green made me swoon as did Jada Paul with her rust-colored gown, matching lipstick and honey blonde bob. Clearly, the celebs didn’t stop slaying once the awards had been bestowed!
